Intro

Well, hello there. If you’re here, I’d imagine you are interested in my roller derby work or have done a super weird google search that has somehow landed you here (thanks, Google), or are perhaps related to me. (Hi, Mom). Regardless, welcome and I hope you find what you need.

Work

After years teaching at a small liberal arts college in Nebraska, I shifted career paths from academia to public history. I’ve been at the Indiana Historical Bureau since returning home to Indiana, and at IHB we pursue all things Hoosier history. There’s more than corn in Indiana—I mean, there’s an awful lot of corn here too. And soybeans. And basketball. But I digress. There’s a whole lot of fascinating sports and sports history here, which of course I love! I also love sugar cream pie. There’s a lot of that too.
